Our Children’s Rights Program is committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow up in a world where their fundamental rights and dignity are respected and upheld.

Why Children’s Rights Matter

1. Innocence and Well-being: Children are inherently vulnerable and deserve protection from harm. Safeguarding their rights ensures that they can experience the innocence and well-being that childhood represents.

Key Principles of Children’s Rights

1. Non-Discrimination: Every child, without exception, is entitled to their rights, irrespective of their race, color, gender, religion, disability, or any other status.
2. Best Interests of the Child: In all actions concerning children, their best interests must be a primary consideration.
3. Survival and Development: Children have the right to life, survival, and development to their fullest potential.
4. Participation: Children have the right to express their views on matters affecting them and have those views given due weight in accordance with their age and maturity.
