- To promote best practices in child welfare and uphold the rights enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Ugandan Children’s Act.

Scope
This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, contractors, board members, and any
individuals or entities representing or associated with Mufasha Uganda.
Definitions

- Child: Any person under the age of 18.
- Abuse: Physical, emotional, sexual, or neglectful actions or in-actions that cause harm to a child.

- Never engage in any form of sexual activity with a child.
- Avoid being alone with a child in a secluded area.
- Report any suspicion or disclosure of abuse immediately.
